*Welcome*

You've probably already seen the little comic strip I opened this post with
portraying Mortimer Goth but I really didn't know how to
start this blog - this is it's first post and I wanted to share something
that would represent the kind of Sims 2 blog this will be
but just couldn't think of anything.

Plus I'm super tired right now so my creative mojo is ZERO!

Rather ironic how I spent HOURS working on how this blog looks
and going through all my Sims photos, (I have TONS),
and as soon as the blog is ready to share I'm drawing a blank.

First thing I want to share is that I have other Sim blogs.
Those ones are where I share my Sims' stories and commentary.
I only play Sims 2, since 2007 and it's the only video game that's been
able to hold my interest and I'm not ashamed to admit -
I am hopelessly and seriously addicted to playing my Sims.

I play my Sims a lot - every day,
and because I play so much, (and visit a few Sims social forums),
I tend to get super behind in my blogs and the next thing I know,
a whole year passes before I finally get in my blogs and update,
That always makes me feel so bad because I enjoy blogging and
sharing stuff about The Sims but for some reason I can't seem to play a lot
and then make the time to blog a lot too.

I'm also suffer from a hideous disorder that I call S.A.D.D -
Sims Attention Deficit Disorder.

In other words I start a lot of family, hoods, stories, games,
challenges and any other wild idea I might have
(or see someone else doing), but finish very few of them.
I get so annoyed at myself for that but I do give it my best shot.

Another issue is that I love creating Sims, (CAS), and being
I gravitate towards only playing Family and Knowledge Sims,
I can over-populate a Sim hood super quick!!!

So, it's not an issue of me getting bored out of my mind with my Sims
or not having enough attention to sit still and play them -
I just end up with too darn many!
Although I do admit playing some Sims can be as boring
as an insurance seminar and my poor Sims that couldn't hold
my attention are still sitting in their dead end, ghost town hoods,
reading upside down books and collecting dust as they wait day after day
with the patience and unyielding loyalty of  Labrador Retrievers .

When my hoods get over populated it turns into a real bugaboo
with my computer, (not-new laptop), that also has the
patience and unyielding loyalty of a Labrador Retriever.
Too may Sims in the hood equates lag and sloooooow game play for me.
And my computer let's me know when "we" are getting weighed down
and clogged up, especially after 8 or more hours of Simming.

Did I also mention that I'm a weak and hopeless hoarder of CC?
Yep, as of now I have 11 GB and that's after purging quite a bit -
I used to have over 17 and it was just too much -
not to meantion I'd used the Willy-Nilly method of organizing all my CC.
That the method where you go on crazy-mad CC binges and
dumping ALL CC into one folder and not looking back.
o with so much CC and the many, many Sims that end up in my hoods,
I'm surprised my poor laptop doesn't find a way
to jump up and bitch slap me!

If my computer were a horse, I'd be arrested for animal cruelty.

Actually I do take care of my computer well.
I have a good virus protection and all that jazz and I defrag
and clean out my files and caches on a regular basis -
it's only in my Sim hoods that my computer shows any sign of distress.

And with all that said I'll get to the point
of what this blog is all about.

This where I'm going to put all my pix of unfinished
Sim projects, (and I have a LOT of them!)
I don't create CC to any kind of special degree but I do
create a lot of wall art in Sim PE and I hope to get them into
files and offer them here for whoever might want them and I also
create some fairly decent Sims and I'll offer them too.
Hence the 'ShayeDK Creations' tag.

This will probably be the most I'll write here.
I have my other blogs for that.
Guess this one will be more like a big picture book.
Just hate to think of all my Sim pix sitting in my files forever
without having a chance to be showcased.

Thanks for reading and I hope in the days to come
you'll keep coming back and checking out my Sims creative endeavors!
